You\'ll have to go hunting to find it. lolFaynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7917851399134986419.post-52216996246453889342010-01-16T16:44:01.000-08:002010-01-16T16:44:01.000-08:00Happy New Year to you...what an adventure. My heav...Happy New Year to you...what an adventure. My heavens-I could not do what you are doing. I don\'t think I could have even done it when I was your age. Now I like luxury and worry free travelling. Gecko poop and creatures in the night would not be my idea of fun-and having my footwear obsconded at every turn--crippers-customs be damned! LOL. Your love of life and people shines thru in your treatise-you show such compassion even in your short essays. Despite your love of the fun and craziness, you are not forgetting to take in the culture and the experience of each land. I follow your trek on maps and read about the places you go. I had never heard of the Full Moon party then googled it-wow-I can see why you could not miss such an experience. As you alluded in your comments about posting pics on Facebook-I will await your return and you can send a few via email. I can\'t believe that you still have til Mar before you return. At least you are missing winter-I am not sure if you heard about Haiti and the earthquake-that country is in full blown catastrophe mode. So many people are trying to get their suffering under control. We have sent money to Doctors without Borders-wonderful organization. Much like the Friends without A Border-unbelievable people who reach out with amazing compassion and caring. Do be careful and alert. If you feel a sense of foreboding - heed your "spidey senses"---take protection seriously. Our weather has improved considerably since after Xmas. We have been having +2C temps-the cars are filthy. Sounds like January will be one of the better months. Only 2 more months to go--always a bonus to have winter on the mild side for the most part. My sister\'s birthday is Jan 10th and normally we are in deep freeze-generally that is the coldest day of winter but this year was a record +3C-wohoo!! Well as always-I am past my bedtime. Take care...be safe...........BBnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7917851399134986419.post-792023711226098472010-01-14T14:26:41.000-08:002010-01-14T14:26:41.000-08:00Wow Shelly Jean... that was a beautifully written,...Wow Shelly Jean... that was a beautifully written, heartfelt bit of writing... I can almost feel it! Your talking about the road rules, and the smiles really brought me back... Those were a couple of the things that really impressed me most too when I was in Thailand... The people were ALL really beautiful - always. The road were ALWAYs terrifying!! ha ha. - I\'m so very glad that you are having such an incredible experience over there... Sounds a little life changing for you. I hope Crystal is enjoying it all as much. Please be careful - I worry about you girls getting into desperate impoverished areas... I love you.... Keep us posted as you figure out where you\'re headed - March seems a very long time away... XO Ma.Carolnoreply@blogger.com
